DESCRIPTION:Tune Up – Plug In – Be Heard! \nJoin us in The Electric Belle for an elevated open mic experience hosted by Taylor Burton of The Silver Silos! \nAnyone can join.. Singers\, musicians\, bands\, comedians\, rappers\, singer-songwriters! \nSign ups begin at 6 pm\, and the music starts at 7 pm! This is a FREE EVENT! \nHere’s some FAQS to have you ready to rock the stage! \nQ: Can I bring my band?\nA: Absolutely – be prepared to hit the stage as soon as it’s your turn. To be fair to everyone\, each performer is allowed the same amount of time on stage (including setup). \nQ: How much time do I get anyway?\nA: This is completely dependent upon the number of people who have signed up. If we have 20 musicians on the list\, for instance\, you’ll get about 8 minutes to show us your stuff. If only 12 people show up\, you’ll have about 15 minutes! We will run through the list and start again at the top\, if we have time. \nQ: I can’t make it there until 7:30\, can you hold a spot for me on the list?\nA: Sorry\, signups start at 6 pm\, and in order to be fair to everyone\, you must sign up in person. Please do come\, and add your name to the list as soon as you can get here! \nQ: My kid who is in high school would like to participate. Is that alright?\nA: Come on! We’re looking forward to seeing what they’ve got! \nQ: I am not a musician\, but I have some poetry I’d like to share\, is that ok?\nA: Sure! Poets\, comedians\, singer-songwriters\, cover artists\, country singers\, hip-hop artists\, story tellers\, are all welcome! \nQ: Will there be anywhere to sit?\nA: Yes! Bring your family and make it a night! \nQ: Will the Electric Belle bar be open?\nA: Absolutely\, and we’re running some fun\, themed drink specials\, too! \nQ: I’ve got backing tracks\, but they’re on my laptop/flash drive\, etc. Can I come?\nA: Sure! We have a state-of-the-art audio system\, and can handle that for you! \nQ: Will there be a drum kit?\nA: Yes! We’ll have a drummer and bass player if anyone needs one! We will have an acoustic guitar\, keyboard\, and drum kit available to use. Beyond these\, please plan on bringing your own instruments.
