He has gone from living in a shack to playing in front of thousands of people and being on tv. Those experiences are all a part of who Gillis is as a performer and songwriter. \n“My life has been a crazy journey\, it’s been hard\, but I know why things had to be that way and I wouldn’t change it\,” Gillis stated.  \nAlong the way\, he’s been able to share his story with the world through his music.
