Stovehouse Welcomes New Food Tenants
As if you need another reason to love Stovehouse, we’re excited to have two new long-awaited tenants opening in the famous Stovehouse Food Garden. The Brewer’s Co-op brings a collection of Alabama breweries into one perfect destination, while Wok’s Up offers up the most amazing Chinese cuisine in Huntsville.
The Brewers Co-Op
Five Alabama breweries, Salty Nuts Brewery, Good People Brewing Company, Avondale Brewing Company, Straight to Ale, and Druid City Brewing Company, established The Brewer’s Cooperative to create one-of-a-kind beers and liquors. “We are a group of master craftsmen and craftswomen united against mediocrity,” The new taproom features what may be the state’s longest bar with over 40 beers on tap.
Brewer’s Co-Op also offers a choice of great bar food to go perfectly with their wide selection of beers. Fried Green Tomatoes and Cornbread Salad bring a taste of the south, while Cast Iron Salad, Street Tacos, cold snacks, and more promise something on the menu for everyone.
The folks at Brewer’s Co-Op are on a mission to keep it simple while creating better beer, better liquor, and better food for everyone in Alabama. “From tasting panels, beer design forums, and beer education events, the Co-Op will facilitate an engaging craft community founded in supporting all things local.”
The Brewer’s Co-Op is currently Stovehouse’s only dine-in restaurant and features a private patio.
Wok’s Up
If you love Asian food like we do, you’ll be excited to know that Wok’s Up is now Huntsville’s premium destination for Chinese-inspired cuisine. At Wok’s Up, you’ll find Asian favorites like Sesame Chicken, Lo Mein, Fried Rice, and Salt and Pepper Shrimp. For those looking for vegan and vegetarian options, Wok’s Up also features tofu dishes and steamed veggies. Don’t miss their specialty, homemade bao, a traditional bread-like dumpling filled with pork, curry chicken or veggies. Enjoy all the delights of Wok’s Up in our beautiful Food Garden!
