This privacy policy applies to the Stovehouse mobile application (the “App”) available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for Android by Bold Agency, LLC, its subsidiaries and affiliates. The App is owned by Bold Agency, LLC (“Bold Agency”). The privacy policy also incorporates by reference the Terms of Service and any other policies available on the App. BY USING THE APP, YOU AGREE TO THE PRIVACY POLICY.
Bold Agency reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this privacy policy, at any time. You are responsible for periodically reviewing the privacy policy for changes. By continuing to use the App, you accept any changes at the time they are implemented.
This privacy policy describes how any personal information collected as a result of your use of the App will be maintained by Bold Agency.
When you access the App, Bold Agency will collect some personal data from you. In some instances, Bold Agency may gain access to some personal data through third-parties or affiliates. Some of the information that may be collected can include, but is not limited to:
If you sign in through a third-party company (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), you are authorizing us to collect, store, and use, in accordance with this Privacy Policy, any and all information that you agreed that third-party company would provide to us through that company’s Application Programming Interface (“API”).
If you choose to make a purchase or subscribe to a feature or service that requires a fee, you will be required to provide Bold Agency with your payment information, including, without limitation, bank account numbers, credit card or debit card numbers, account details, ACH information, and similar data (collectively, “Payment Information”). Such Payment Information will be collected and processed by Bold Agency’s third-party payment vendors pursuant to the terms and conditions of their privacy policies and terms of use, and Bold Agency does not obtain access to any Payment Information in connection with such purchases or subscriptions.
From time to time, Bold Agency may provide communication to users through the use of push notifications. In order to receive push notifications, users must opt-in through their settings on their Android or Apple device. At any time, you can manage your push notification preferences or deactivate these notifications at any time by turning off the notification settings in the App or on your Android or Apple device. If you choose not to receive push notifications, you will still receive in-app notifications.
Certain features and functionalities of the App are based on your location. In order to provide these features and functionalities while you are using your mobile device, Bold Agency may, with your consent, automatically collect geolocational information from your mobile device or wireless carrier and/or certain third-party service providers (collectively, “Geolocational Information”). Collection of such Geolocational Information occurs only when the App is running on your device. You may decline to allow us to collect such Geolocational Information, in which case Bold Agency will not be able to provide certain features or functionalities to you.
Bold Agency and the third-party technology providers, ad exchanges, ad networks, advertisers, agencies, ad exchanges, and ad servers with which we work use third-party analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics) to evaluate your use of the App, compile reports on activity, collect demographic data, analyze performance metrics, and collect and evaluate other information relating to the App and mobile and Internet usage. These third parties use cookies and other technologies to help analyze and provide Bold Agency the data. You consent to the processing of data about you by these analytics providers in the manner and for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Bold Agency may collect information related to marketing and branding. You agree for someone from or on behalf of Bold Agency to contact you by any means provided for contact through your use of the App.
All users have the opportunity to opt out of receiving nonessential (i.e., promotional or marketing-related) communications from Stovehouse after setting up an account. To remove your contact information from Stovehouse’s lists and newsletters, simply edit by following the opt out link included in each email.
Bold Agency may use both session cookies, which expire once you close the App, and persistent cookies, which stay on your mobile device until you delete them and other technologies to help us collect data and to enhance your experience with the App. Cookies are small text files an app can use to recognize a repeat visitor to the app. We may use cookies for various purposes, including to determine type of mobile device; personalize your experience; analyze which portions of the App are visited and used most frequently; and measure and optimize advertising and promotional effectiveness.
If you do not want Bold Agency to deploy cookies in the App, you can opt out by setting your mobile device to reject cookies. You can still use the App if you choose to disable cookies, although your ability to use some of the features may be affected.
Your app store (e.g., iTunes or Google Play) may collect certain information in connection with your use of the App, such as Personal Information, Payment Information, Geolocational Information, and other usage-based data. Bold Agency has no control over the collection of such information by a third-party app store, and any such collection or use will be subject to that third party’s applicable privacy policies.
The App may contain links to third-party websites. Bold Agency has no control over the privacy practices or the content of these websites. As such, Bold Agency is not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of those third-party websites. You should check the applicable third-party privacy policy and terms of use when visiting any other websites.
You are responsible for the personal information you provide upon registering. You are also responsible for making any necessary changes to your personal data. If you request, Bold Agency will close your account and remove your personal data from the App according to applicable law. Some personal data will be maintained by Bold Agency to comply with law, prevent fraud, collect fees, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce the Terms of Service, and take other actions permitted by law.
Do not disclose your password to anyone. You are responsible for all actions of your username and password. Giving away your password will permit another person access to your personal data. If your password has been compromised, please change it immediately.
Bold Agency will make every reasonable effort to protect your personal data. Bold Agency, however, makes no warranty or promise that your personal data or private communications will not be intercepted due to unauthorized access or disclosure.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. Bold Agency adheres to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and will not knowingly collect Personal Information from any child under the age of 13. Bold Agency ask that minors (under the age of 13) not use the App. If a child under the age of 13 has provided Bold Agency with Personal Information, a parent or guardian of that child may contact Bold Agency and request that such information be deleted from our records.
If you are a California user, the following provisions apply to our processing of information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you or your household (“California Personal Information”). For California users, the provisions of this California Addendum prevail over any conflicting provisions in other sections of this Privacy Policy.
