The Canteen FAQs

We are so excited that Stovehouse is part of your special event! Please fill out a rental form here and an Experience Manager will be in touch with you regarding your event.

The Canteen can accommodate approximately 60 people seated and up to 85 people standing.

If you have a larger party, you can always use the Canteen as your main hub and use the public spaces in the Food Garden and Booth.

The Canteen is 30′ x 30′ (approx 900 sq. ft.).

Yes, we offer a 20% nonprofit discount.

At this time, catered food and drinks may only be provided by Stovehouse restaurants. Please visit this link to find information about catering options.

Events in The Canteen may only be catered by restaurants located in Stovehouse. We do not allow outside catering at this time.

This includes outside drinks. No outside alcohol may be brought onto campus.

Yes, birthday cake or cupcakes are allowed for your event.

You will only be allowed in the room during your reservation time.

All reservations must include any setup time needed before guests arrive and any time needed to break down after they leave.

If your event is catered, include catering setup and breakdown times as well.

Plan your reservation time for the maximum time you expect to use the room. If you want the party to continue, your group must move into common spaces at Stovehouse.

We have a tight schedule of reservations and have to include time to clean in between.

We offer (6) 6ft tables, (3) 8ft tables, (7) high top tables with stools, and up to 60 chairs to accommodate your event.

Prior to your event, your Experience Manager will contact you to ask how you’d like the room set up.

We are happy to offer suggestions based on your headcount and event needs!

You may hang decorations or signs on the glass windows, and feel free to decorate the tables as you would like. Balloons and free-standing decorations are also allowed.

Please do not hang decorations or signs on painted walls, from wooden beams or the shelves, etc.

The renter is obligated to cover any damages done to the room during their event. This includes any and all decorations and the means to hang or display them. Painter’s tape must be used if tape is needed.

No, we do not. We have linenless brushed metal tables that are lightweight for flexibility of arrangement. The tables are very nice and go with the unique industrial theme of The Canteen.

You are welcome to bring in your own tablecloths if desired.

Your computer can be connected to the television using an HDMI cable, a USB stick, or wirelessly via AirTame.

Please make sure you have any adaptors required to convert your computer to HDMI.

Yes! We have provided curtains and you may close the doors.

However, you are likely to hear all the activity happening nearby at Stovehouse.

Yes, but please keep in mind the room size. Some guests have enjoyed taking advantage of the entertainment provided in the Leisure Garden rather than bringing in their own private entertainment. Please inquire about sponsoring a band of your choice on the main stage!

To fully open or close the curtains, please ask for assistance; however, you may pull them back to the tiebacks whenever you wish.

Yes! Please ask a Stovehouse Campus Host to open the doors for you when the weather is appropriate.

Yes, The Canteen has a private restroom.

Pourhouse is happy to accommodate your alcoholic beverage needs to help make your event a success. Alcohol may be purchased inside the Pourhouse and brought into the Canteen, OR Pourhouse can provide a bar onsite for your function.

No outside alcohol is allowed on the Stovehouse Campus.
